KS1142 is a pair of 8.5 mm low-profile slick tires in PN’s KS Firm compound (PN family table also labels this SKU Hard). Retailers list it as Firm; same part either way.
Low-profile carcass is about 1.6 mm thick — roughly 23.2 mm OD on 20 mm rims. Stock class often needs no true after one pack of RCP break-in; advanced classes may true only 0.1–0.2 mm of surface.
Use Firm/Hard when Soft or Super Soft overheats or pushes on high-grip RCP.
